A small procedure but a big change

The bullhorn lip lift has grown in popularity with Czech women over the last years. This is a fast and relatively easy procedure, the effect of which can immediately increase self-confidence. You may wish to see the earlier version of your smile in the mirror, the one before your upper lip lowered over time. Or your lips have always been thin and it is now time for a change.

What outcome can I expect?

A Bullhorn Lip lift enhances the redness of the upper lip and in turn gives it volume. This will also reveal a few millimetres of the upper incisors which promotes the desired aesthetic effect. Each procedure, the upper lip lifting as well, is preceded by a pre-surgery consultation. You will be taken care of directly by a plastic surgeon at the Aesthevita plastic surgery clinic from the very first moment, you will learn all the details on time and get a clearer image of what you can look forward to.

Right before the surgery

Before the procedure, you undergo a process of blood sampling. The doctor checks your blood count and blood clotting.

The progress of the procedure

As soon as the local anaesthesia or analgosedation starts to work, the surgeon makes an incision right below the nose. Then the doctor removes the excess skin, lifts the upper lip up and stitches the wound. Finally, he/she puts a sterile bandage on it. If you undergo the procedure under local anaesthesia, the doctor will discharge you immediately. You will rest at the clinic for a while after analgosedation.

If you are worried about the wounds on your face, you needn’t be. The little scars, elegantly hidden in the folds of your nose, certainly won’t attract negative attention. Only you will know.

Recovery is usually fast

The best thing to do for the first 2 days after the surgery is to put a hydrogel cooling mask on the wound. Recovery will not really restrict your everyday life, yet you should be careful around the treated area for at least the first week after surgery.

Bruises and swelling (that cannot be avoided even with minor surgery) will disappear within 10 days. The above mentioned cooling masks will significantly help swelling disappear.

Protect the scars from the sun

Protect the scars from the sunARegardless the season in which you undergo the bullhorn lip lift, protect your fresh scars carefully from the sun for at least for 3 months after the surgery. Creams with high protection factor will work well for your face.

Get used to change

Although it may not seem like it, the bullhorn lip lift changes the entire facial expression. Not only will it make the face look younger and plump lips will deliver sensuality but it will also make the facial expression look less grim, which is the effect the thin lips often have.

Enjoy greater self-confidence

The shape of the mouth and make-up that can/cannot be used often influences a woman’s self-confidence. The aesthetic modification of lips will give you a new stimulus for your self-confidence, which will then have a positive effect on various areas of your life.
